Hi, I’m Mitchell.
(But you can call me Karsyn.)
By day, I’m Mrs. Mitchell—the one with the organized bins, the endless supply of stickers, and a classroom full of energy. I spend my hours teaching 4th grade, tying shoelaces, and helping tiny humans discover that they can do hard things.
I love the “teacher life,” but I created this space to share the side of me that exists once the school day ends.
The School Day Essentials:
- My “Why”: Seeing a student finally master a skill they’ve been working on for weeks.
- Teacher Fuel: Iced Chia and a dream.
- The Goal: Making sure every kid leaves my room feeling a little more confident than when they walked in.
Beyond the Classroom
When I’m not in “Mrs. Mitchell” mode, I’m just Karsyn. This is where I swap the lesson plans for my own adventures. Whether it’s sewing, baking, or just catching up on a book that doesn’t have pictures on every page, this is my place to unwind.
A few things I love: - Sewing: Wether it’s making a quilt or altering some clothing— sewing is always something that has had a special place in my heart.
- Crocheting: I love getting to break out some yarn and create something new!
- Baking: Baking is a hobby I have loved for so long. When time allows, I love getting to make sweet treats for family.
Life is a lot like a classroom—it’s a little bit of chaos, a lot of learning, and way better when you’re kind to the people around you.
